A question I have for you

Hello there

Here’s a video update for you, with a question at the end I’d love for you to consider please.

If you have trouble viewing the video, here’s a brief overview of what I have to say in it.

Tomorrow the beginner’s workshops start. The first one helps you to get to know more about what all the knobs, buttons and levers do on your machine. There are 5 others in the group but if you’ve missed this first one, just pop me a line and we can repeat it.

On Thursday, the first Siblings Together session is on. Check out the event page for more details – Siblings Together project

On Friday, Hand stitch Fridays start again for the new year. 7-9 p.m, where you can do any hand stitching you like and enjoy some down time after a doubtless busy week and get yourself keyed up for the weekend.

The studio is shut on Saturday, as I’m taking my daughter to Leicester to the university’s open day.

As well as the sewcial session on Monday, there’s the first crochet session of the year. Let me know by Friday please if you’d like to get more help with your crochet or if you’re a brand new beginner and would love Diane to help get you started. We’ll start with straightforward granny squares.

Thursday 14th January, sees the patchwork ladies doing some quilt-as-you-go techniques – I can’t wait!

The question I want to ask is – are you interested in making a hat? I’m busy inviting a whole range of different tutors to the studio and someone suggested I ask the hat museum ladies, if any of them could do one or two classes at the studio. Would you like to do something different like that? Is that really not appealing to you? Pop me a line and let me know, pretty please.

Take care and I’ll see you soon
