The face (and messy sewing table!) behind Stitchscape and Patchwork Play.

I’ve spent the last eleven years helping women rediscover the joy of patchwork and quilting through retreats, workshops, and friendly sewcials. I know exactly how easy it is for creativity to slip down the list when life feels full - because I’ve been there too. I was a single mum for over 7 years, so that was particularly hard to make the time for me to create things, whether that be card making, scrap booking or sewing. I'm 60 now but still I can find it hard to keep in the sewing flow.

Making things has always been a big part of my well-being.

That’s why I created Patchwork Play: a calm, colourful space where you can sew without pressure, connect without comparison, and finally make time for you. All without leaving the house if you like.
