At Stitchscape, I'm passionate about providing craft enthusiasts with the events they need to bring their creative life into full vision. Leave that dusting alone. Walk out of the front door and come enjoy some fun time out with people who love doing patchwork and quilting too. Not only will that give you a breath of fresh air but also help you master new techniques and possibly expand your skillset. Whether you're looking to try something new or hone your existing skills, I'm here to support you every step of the way. But it's not just me; it'll be everyone at these sew days too. At least 14 other people! Any which way, you won't be stuck at home alone, so even if your project all goes pear shaped, you have people around who can help you giggle again or join in with your swear fest.

Are you needing a project to stitch during the sew days?
As the initial motivator for some, I'll be selling a small number of kits to make this starry night quilt from the Art Gallery Fabrics website. I'll also be teaching the techniques required for this quilt. Fear ye not! Everyone can make their own version of this quilt if necessary. It's called starry night but if you're not a Christmas person, create that pattern with different fabrics and leave the star out or put a fussy cut badger there. You're the boss of your own quilt and I can help with whatever you choose. I can help you create the essential patchwork blocks of course but you can choose whichever fabric you like. Pink not your colour? No issues, change the pinks to greens or blues or ..... I wonder which colour you're imagining whilst reading this?
Or maybe you insist on having those fabrics - I got you covered, as I have kits available using those Art Gallery Fabrics.
Perhaps you don't like that quilt pattern- well, make a pattern you do like or finish one which you started 4 years ago!
The sew days are there for us to enjoy and gain from teaching and inspiration, not for us to do what everyone else is doing - unless that's what you feel best doing. There are no rules. There's just motivation to sew together and feel as one in a community around patchwork and quilting. Seize the opportunity because they may not happen again. Nothing in life is certain. I'm making them happen but it's down to you to make them work for you.
